We want electricity industry experience, but above all we need Business Analysts who bring clear thinking and intellectual rigour to bear on complex problems – and who know which tools will deliver the best results. A utilities background is welcome, but we need people with the ability (and willingness) to confront ambiguity, bring order to chaos, and to communicate insight that will inform sound decision-making.
We’re a small, hard-working team aiming to grow our ability to support an ambitious global organisation, and we’re looking for those who are equally comfortable being part of a large project or working independently on their own initiative to deliver what the business needs.
In this role, you’ll be the bridge between business objectives and technology or process solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to lead requirements analyses and to structure them to support effective execution and delivery. You’ll capture and design processes, assess the business and technical impacts of change, lead discussions, capture outcomes and deliver structured documentation.
And you’ll do it in an environment that is supportive, rewarding and ready to recognise a job well done, alongside project managers, technical specialists and subject matter experts experienced in meeting the demands of regulatory projects and in responding to rapidly evolving business needs. This is an opportunity to make an impact in a global, fast-moving environment where your contributions will directly influence the success of key initiatives and long-term organisational goals.
We want great analysts. If this sounds like you then please apply!
What skills/experience contribute to success?
Strong expertise in requirements development both functional and non-functional (including performance, security, usability, and reliability), with the ability to prioritise based on business impact;
Sound knowledge of modelling and analysis techniques with the experience and judgement to select the right approach for the task;
Proven ability to plan, drive, and lead project definition activities for large or complex projects, and support delivery through the full project lifecycle.
