In a nutshell

This role plays an important part in supporting the day-to-day financial health of Virgin Atlantic’s Working Capital.

You’ll focus on ensuring balance sheet accounts are accurate, understood and well controlled, helping the business move quickly while staying on top of risk.

Working closely with colleagues across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cashbook and Accounting, you’ll help transactions move smoothly through the end-to-end process and reduce avoidable rework.

    • Support audit and control activity with clear documentation.
    • Work with AP, AR and Cashbook to resolve transactional issues.
    • Support IATA and Virtual Credit Card processes.

About you

    • Part-qualified accountant or actively studying towards ACCA / CIMA.
    • Strong understanding of balance sheet control and accounting fundamentals.
    • Experience working in a Working Capital or finance operations environment.
    • Ability to investigate issues and clearly identify root causes.
    • High attention to detail with a strong control mindset.
