This is an exciting senior leadership role, leading a range of countywide services including Health and Social Care Connect, Neighbourhood Support Teams, Occupational Therapy Services and the Sensory Impairment Team. You will provide strategic and operational leadership, oversee budgets and performance, ensure statutory duties are met, and drive innovation and service improvement. This role offers the opportunity to influence system-wide delivery, strengthen partnerships, and shape the future direction of adult social care across East Sussex.

We are looking for candidates who:

    • Bring significant senior management experience within Adult Social Care.
    • Can translate local and national policy into practice, including interpreting complex legislation.
    • Have strong strategic leadership and change management skills.
    • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, adapting messages for a range of audiences.
    • Have experience of staff management, performance oversight and managing budgets.
