Hours of work: Individual Needs Assistant 22.5 hours and Midday Supervisory Assistant 5 hours per week.

Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service.

As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.

Fixed term for: 5 months

Are you passionate about supporting children with diverse needs? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Individual Needs Assistant to join our team and work with a wonderful child with autism.

Role Overview:

    • Providing one-to-one support to help the child thrive academically and socially.
    • Fostering a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging communication and engagement.
    • Collaborating with teachers and specialists to develop tailored learning strategies.
    • Assisting with daily routines and transitions to promote independence and confidence.
    • Supporting the teacher in delivering tailored educational programs.

We want someone who has:

    • Experience working with children, particularly with autism or special educational needs.
    • Strong communication and a patient, nurturing demeanour.
    • A compassionate and patient approach to working with children.
    • A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
    • Relevant qualifications or training in special education or child development are a plus.
