Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

Our school requires an Individual Needs Assistant to work with a child in Year 5 with an EHCP. The post is for 28.33 hours per week 8.40am to 15.20 pm.

The salary will be Single Status Grade 3 between point 7. This is a fixed term contract for 18 months year due to the child's statement.

The successful candidate will be a motivated and energetic individual who has a calm, organised, patient and professional approach to working with children. We would like a cheerful, reliable, flexible and hardworking individual.

The successful candidate will:

    • Have an interest and passion for supporting children;
    • Have a commitment to inclusion for all within a mainstream setting;
    • Believe in supporting every child to be the best that they can be
    • Speech and language
    • Sensory training desirable
    • Social skills/nurture training desirable
