Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

Etchingham CE Primary School is seeking to appoint an Individual Needs Assistant (maternity cover) to support a child in the Reception environment during lessons and lunchtimes.
The position is being advertised as part-time, mornings only for 9 hours per week, including lunchtime supervision. The working pattern will be Thursdays and Fridays, from 8:45 am to 1:45 pm. This is a temporary position to cover a member of staff who is on maternity leave.
The successful candidate should be someone who:
Has excellent interpersonal skills and is able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
Can contribute to a dynamic and hardworking team, working alongside the class teacher and SENCO.
Can demonstrate the ability to provide consistent, calm and nurturing support whilst maintaining clear behaviour boundaries.
Has previous experience of working with children; working with children with SEND and/or working with children in Early Years/KS1 would be preferable.
Is committed to supporting the Christian ethos of the school.
