Forest Row Church of England Primary School is seeking a caring, reliable, and proactive Individual Needs Assistant to support a KS1 child with a physical disability.

The child is engaging, loves learning and has a great sense of humour. They enjoy conversation, learning, and being involved in daily classroom activities alongside their peers.

The role focuses on enabling full participation in learning and school life through practical, emotional, and organisational support and maintaining opportunities for social integration.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide one-to-one support throughout the school day

· Assist with mobility and transitions between activities

· Support access to learning materials and classroom tasks

· Assist with personal care needs where required, with dignity and respect

· Encourage independence, confidence, and maintain social integration

· Work closely with teaching staff, the family and the therapy team and follow individual support plans

The ideal candidate will:

· Be patient, attentive, and positive in your approach

· Have experience supporting children with additional needs (desirable but not essential)

· Be comfortable assisting with physical support and personal care

· Have a good sense of humour and enjoy working with children

· Be reliable, flexible, and a strong team player
