Hours of work: 34 hours per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service.
As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.
Fixed term for: 7 months

We are seeking to appoint to our team of hardworking and enthusiastic Learning Mentors who act as role models to our students.

Duties will include:
The successful candidates will help to develop students’ confidence, supporting with literacy and numeracy and to guide them how to access education to achieve their highest potential. The post may also involve a combination of targeted work in our inclusion room with students who are hard to reach and present with challenging behaviours and in class support across the curriculum with students within Special Educational Needs (SEN).
They will need to have excellent communications skills, tolerance and sensitivity.
