About the role

Our Major Projects team is the engine behind delivering critical programmes that transform our business and communities. As the Reporting and Governance Lead, you’ll design and maintain frameworks that ensure transparency, compliance, and high-quality reporting across a portfolio of complex projects. This is your opportunity to lead a talented team, influence strategic decisions, and champion innovation in reporting and governance.

What you will be responsible for:

    • Design and maintain integrated performance reporting frameworks, including dashboards and detailed project-level data.
    • Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior and executive leadership.
    • Establish and enforce governance structures aligned with internal and regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure compliance through periodic reviews, audits, and NEC contract governance.
    • Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Build strong relationships with internal teams, supply chain partners, and regulatory bodies.

Additional Requirements

    • Proficiency in reporting tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, and Excel.

      Familiarity with NEC contracts and commercial management principles.

      Experience in regulatory reporting and compliance.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Essential

    • Proven experience leading PMO reporting and governance within large-scale infrastructure or capital programmes.
    • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teams.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and value delivery.

Desirable

    • Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
    • Professional certifications such as P3O, AMP, Prince2, or PMI.
    • Experience in utilities or water sector is advantageous.
