About the role

We have a new opportunity for a Multi Skilled Plasterer to join our Repairs team on a full-time, permanent basis, covering Brighton, Crawley and the surrounding areas.

Candidates must be skilled in Plastering and show a level of competence in other trades. You must live within thirty miles of Brighton to be able to reach all the locations in a timely manner.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Demonstrable competence within the required primary trade.
• Various multi-trade skills and experience, sufficient to enable the completion of repairs at the first visit (first-time fix).
• Experience working in a customer-focused environment within agreed performance targets.
• Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures, and accurately record data and information.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems, seeking any advice required.
• Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
• Ability to operate safely, having taken into account any environmental circumstances and possible risks.
• Demonstrate the Guinness Behaviours.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Experience of working within the social housing sector.

Essential Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds) Trade Qualification or equivalent recognised competency in the required trade.
