Play Assistant – Twilight After-School Care

Do you love play, creativity, and making a difference to children’s afternoons?

If you enjoy engaging with children and creating fun, safe spaces for play, this could be the perfect role for you!

We are looking for a Play Assistant to join our Twilight after-school care team for children who attend our school.

Hours: Two afternoons per week (3:00 pm – 5:30 pm), with the possibility of adding an extra afternoon if needed.

What will you do?

• Set up exciting play activities and prepare a simple snack for the children.
• Welcome children after school, provide their snack, and join in their play.
• Create a warm, supportive environment where children feel happy and safe.

What we’re looking for:

• Creative and fun-loving, with a passion for play.
• Energetic and ready to keep up with lively children!
• Able to encourage positive behaviour and support children’s social skills.
• Willing to prepare simple snacks.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and food hygiene (training provided).
