Roam is a rapidly growing EV charging infrastructure business with a mission to Electrify your Everyday. We are looking to add a new member to our finance team, based out of our headquarters in Crawley, West Sussex.

We are seeking a commercially focused Revenue Manager to drive revenue optimisation and site financial performance across our EV charging network. This role will be responsible for analysing usage data, reporting on the monthly revenue across the various platforms, monthly/quarterly reporting to clients, and working cross-functionally with operations, finance and commercial teams to maximise revenue and utilisation.

Where does this role sit?

This role sits within our finance team, reporting directly in to our Financial Controller. The role will suit someone with a keen attention to detail and excellent communication skills for liaising with clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to really make this role their own and recommend improvements and efficiencies to enhance the customer journey as Roam grows.

What will you be doing?

Revenue strategy & pricing

    • Analysing utilisation, customer behaviour and competitor pricing to optimise tariffs

    • Supporting the launch of new pricing plans, subscriptions and promotional campaigns

    • Looking into dynamic pricing models across locations, customer segments and time-of-use structures

Performance analysis

    • Monitoring revenue, utilisation and margin performance across our charging network

    • Building dashboards and reports to track key revenue metrics

    • Identifying under-performing sites and recommending pricing or operational changes

Financial planning & forecasting

    • Preparing revenue forecasts for budgeting and long-term planning

    • Producing accurate client billing statements and monitoring receipt of invoices

    • Ensuring client queries on billings are resolved quickly and fully

    • Month End – booking all revenue into the P&L and ensuring its accuracy

Systems & data

    • Supporting the wider business with improving the customer journey (i.e. self-billing)

    • Reviewing data accuracy of the project management system

    • Looking for process improvements and implementing as required

Cross-functional collaboration

    • Supporting the legal team with billing-related lease queries during negotiations

    • Providing revenue insights and utilisation variances to senior management as part of our monthly Board reporting requirements

What are we looking for?

We are seeking candidates with the following:

Skills and experience

    • 3-7 years experience in revenue management, pricing, FP&A or commercial finance

    • Experience in energy, EV charging, utilities, telecoms or subscription-based business preferred

    • Strong IT skill and proficiency with MS Office Applications; with advanced Excel and/or BI tools

    • Experience working with ERP or financial systems (e.g. NetSuite)

    • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills

    • A genuine interest in delivering a positive customer experience

    • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, time management and attention to detail

    • Willingness to be flexible and develop within the role as the business grows

Qualifications

    • Degree in a relevant field (essential)

    • Professional finance qualification or equivalent experience (desirable)

Package & perks

    • Full-time

    • Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 17:00

    • Salary £55-65k per annum, dependent on experience.
