As a Supervising Social Worker within our Fostering Support Team, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of vulnerable children and young people. This is an exciting opportunity to work independently while managing a diverse and challenging caseload. You will be at the heart of safeguarding and fostering services, making a real difference by supporting children, young people, and their Foster carers to achieve safe, stable, and positive outcomes.
In this role, you will handle complex cases, apply relevant legislation, and work closely with foster carers, other social work teams, and partner agencies to ensure children in foster care receive the highest standard of care. You will have the ability to make professional decisions, contribute to outcome-focused care planning, and help build lasting, supportive relationships that promote the wellbeing and stability of every child you work with.

The people we are looking for in this vital position will have/will be able to:
Recognised Social Work qualification and current registration with the professional regulatory body.
Successfully completed Assessed and Supported Year in employment if graduated post 2012.
