Hours of work: 31.25 hours per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.85 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service.
As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.

We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work as part of our existing staff team, mainly supporting children in class. This will include working alongside the class teacher in promoting independent learning, whether it is as a whole class, in small groups or as individuals. We would like somebody who is patient and who is able to model a positive attitude to the children with a good understanding of the wide range of primary curriculum subjects.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.45am to 3.30pm (0.5hr lunch). Midday Supervisory Assistant duties included.
We are looking for someone with:-
Good communication skills with children and adults
A love of learning and the ability to be creative and to use their own initiative
Proficiency in basic Maths and English skills
The ability to use ICT effectively
A fostering flexible approach in supporting children with SEND when necessary.
If possible, a relevant Level 3 qualification and/or previous experience of working with primary aged children
