Reports to: Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer

The Opportunity

Focus Group is a £300m-revenue technology services company backed by Hg Capital, executing an ambitious Value Creation Plan to strengthen our operating platform and unlock growth. We're seeking a Transformation Lead to take ownership of specific VCP initiatives whilst playing a key coordination role across our transformation portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 5-6 years of consulting or mixed consulting/operational experience who wants to move beyond pure advisory work into hands-on delivery with measurable business impact.

The Role

As Transformation Lead, you will:

    • Lead delivery of assigned VCP initiatives from design through implementation and measurable value realisation
    • Own change management strategies and execution plans that drive employee and customer adoption for your initiative portfolio
    • Manage cross-functional stakeholder engagement, coordinate timelines, and remove barriers to delivery
    • Maintain transformation governance cadence including working groups, steering committees, and progress tracking
    • Produce board materials, management reporting, and executive updates on initiative progress and benefits realisation
    • Support DSP to track KPIs, lead indicators, and programme health metrics across the full VCP portfolio
    • Work with DSP to manage the broader VCP roadmap and prioritisation
    • Contribute to building transformation capability and best practices across Focus Group

What You'll Bring

Essential:

    • 5-6 years' experience in management consulting, or a blend of consulting and start-up/corporate transformation roles
    • Track record of delivering cross-functional change initiatives with measurable outcomes
    • Strong programme management skills including stakeholder engagement, timeline coordination, and risk management
    • Excellent communication skills with ability to produce crisp board-level materials and influence senior stakeholders
    • Commercial acumen and ability to connect initiatives to business value and financial outcomes
    • Analytical problem-solving approach with comfort using data to guide decisions
    • Bias for action – able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

Desirable:

    • Experience in B2B technology-driven businesses
    • Exposure to PE-backed or rapidly scaling organisations
    • Familiarity with AI, automation, or data-led transformation programmes

What We Offer

    • Competitive base salary plus bonus and benefits package
    • Direct ownership of high-impact transformation initiatives with executive visibility
    • Opportunity to shape the transformation function in a scaling, Hg-backed business
    • Collaborative, delivery-focused culture
    • Hybrid working – typically 2-3 days per week in Shoreham HQ
