We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Care Assistant to join our supportive team for a fixed-term maternity cover of 12 months. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer-service skills, a genuine love for animals and a desire to provide outstanding care in a fast-paced veterinary environment.
This customer-facing role will include reception duties, client care responsibilities, administration tasks, hygiene and infection control, stock control, laboratory tasks and animal care duties. This vacancy is a part-time position working across our 3 East Sussex surgeries (Hailsham, Eastbourne & Stone Cross).

Your shift pattern
You will work 32.6 hours per week across 4 weekdays, with varying shift patterns of 8:30 am - 4 pm / 8:30 am - 5:30 pm / 8:30 am - 7 pm, plus 1:8 Saturday mornings 8:30 am - 1:30 pm.
