The Role

IMI plc is searching for a passionate Production Technician Team Leader to guide our talented team in delivering high-quality, innovative solutions that improve lives every day.
Lead the team in carrying out tests according to test specifications, ensuring all results are recorded safely and compliantly. Ensure test rigs and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
Driving Improvements: identify and drive improvement opportunities in test processes, equipment, unit dressing, and data analysis
Motivate: Empower your team to smash daily and weekly targets, fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
Shape the Future: Play a key role in launching new products, coordinating training, and ensuring seamless transitions from prototype to production.

Who are we looking for?
- A hands-on leader with a background in production (PCBA/electronics/testing experience a plus)
- Experience in handing and testing with high voltage power supplies would be advantageous
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, flexible environment
- A team player with great communication, organization, and attention to detail
- A champion of safety, ethics, and continuous improvement
What we offer
Pay range: £30,000 –£32,000 annually -Within this range, individual pay is determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications relative to the job requirements.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 8.25 hours per day
- Friday: 4.5 hours
